MIMproject and Jan Fedinger - Requiem for a lightbulb 18-12-2009

MIMproject and Jan Fedinger wrote a hommage to the Edisons incandescent light bulbs – Thank You for serving us so good. RIP

Installation took place in Kanuti Gildi SAAL as Jan Fedingers residency final showing in collaboration with Taavet Jansen and Maike Lond.

Amateur and Meat are playing live in Milky Way

Taavet will collaborate with Anja Mueller (Berlin/Amsterdam) to make rock-concert-dance-performance in Melkweg theater in Amsterdam. Performances will take place 07, 08 and 09 of december in 2007.

Hello again

Its been a while… what are our busy MIM team has been up to lately:

Interdisciplinary project <algorytm> where we researched estonian traditional skirt patterns and applied them to the music, choreography, visuals, text and dramaturgy. See more at http://taavetjansen.mimproject.org/portfolio/91/

Maike Lond graduated the Royal Academy of Arts in Den Haag. Her graduation installation “sirquit garden” had big success. You can see it in VillaNuts in Den Haag in oct-nov 2007 and in Tallinn City Gallery in april 2008.

Hamlets

3th of oct. premiered “Hamlets” in Von Krahl Theatre where Taavet made video/technical solution. Many ideas grew out from MIM project.

Nüüdsest oleme MTÜ Interaktiivne Üksus. Ametlikku käiku oli vaja, sest tahame hakata sellele projektile leidma stuudioruume ja rahastusvõimalusi.

MIM goes to theatre

Taavet Jansen – one of the founders of MIM project will create interactive video/stage solutions for Sasha Pepelyaevs performance “Hamlet” in Von Krahl Theatre in oct 2006. He is also involved as a Jittter programming supervisor with Sashas next piece – Chaika (Seagull) premiere in July 2006 in Moscow.
